Welcome to the DodoNetwork Discographies
As life takes me in strange new directions, I find myself without the resources I once had that are needed to keep this project going. Therefore, I must regretfully announce that no more updates will be made to this project, and it will eventually be discontinued. However, a new project will emerge from this.
Back in the year 2000 I began this project as a simple Rock-O-Rama Records discography. As time went on I added more labels with plans to add even more. Unfortunately, that is what caused this project to become too large to handle for a single person with limited resources. While the other labels are nowhere near completion, an immense amount of work has been done for the Rock-O-Rama label, and it would be a shame to simply discard all of that work. So I have decided that the Rock-O-Rama discography shall form the basis for a new project rather than be retired completely.
As comprehensive as the Rock-O-Rama discography is, it already serves as a sort of history of the label. So the plan I have is to shift the focus of this site to document the history of the label, including a complete discography, from the perspective of those who make the music. That's all I will say about this for now, I will need to be able to get in touch with some key people who were involved before this has a chance of being successful. More details will be posted here as they become available.
Update 19 Feb 2018
I might expand the scope of what I described above to include a few other select labels. For instance, Metal Enterprises, as it is such an odd label with some mystery still surrounding it. So perhaps I will find some way to incorporate more of what has already been done into the new format.
